Scott Woll is a financial services veteran for over 35 years. Over his career, he has held various senior executive positions for bank-owned and independently owned mortgage entities. Scott has been involved and knowledgeable in all aspects of the business. He has managed Loan Operations, Compliance/ Regulatory, Capital Markets and Loan Servicing. Scott has assisted companies from start-ups to mergers to company sales. Since 2008, Scott has been consulting through his own Consulting and Advisory company – SBW Advisors, LLC. He works with business owners and executives focusing on business strategies, financial forecasting, profitability assessment and business workflow processes. Scott has assisted in Agency Approvals, Pipeline Management and Hedging Strategy, Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) strategic planning, and procuring Warehouse and MSR Lines of Credit. He has implemented various Loan Origination Systems (LOS) as well as preparing written Policies & Procedures for all areas.
Scott has been successful in obtaining Lines of Credit totaling over $3 Billion and Purchasing/Selling MSRs of over $5 Billion over his career. He has started Retail, Wholesale and Correspondent operations for various organizations, allowing for large incremental volume increases while building up the servicing portfolio and optimizing profitability.
He continues to assist Bank’s Board of Directors and independent mortgage company owners assess their operations, provide consulting and advisory services for Agency approvals, Lines of Credit and Product Development/Guidelines and profitability analysis. Scott continues to share his knowledge and expertise by speaking at conferences and writing articles.
